Based on existing relationships and quality delivery on similar projects, WP3 were asked to lend our expertise to developing methodologies for refurbishing the main mechanical plant systems within the 99 Bishopsgate building. This information was utilised by our client in a successful bid to win the wider project works.
Of particular importance to the building owners and managers was completing the works in a manner that minimises or eliminates business disruption for their high value tenants. We were able to manage this with a thorough understanding of the building systems and engineering of several options which we collaboratively workshopped with the wider team.
With our proactive approach, we further developed initial design concepts to add value for the end client and improve engineered solutions.
Our surveys and technical design incorporated:
Condenser water systems and cooling towers,
Landlord and tenant chilled water systems,
Low temperature hot water systems,
Critical and resilient cooling system design,
