The confidential project for Mace comprised a 100,000 sq ft nuclear/commercial scheme, completed in November 2022.
Working alongside Mace and consultant Qoda, WP3 provided MEP management, design support and validation services throughout the project.
WP3 developed the MEP validation scope on behalf of the client to assess which existing services could be retained and reused as part of the Cat B fit-out. As the building was a new acquisition, the client required assurance that the existing infrastructure was capable of supporting the extensive fit-out requirements.
The validation process identified the requirement for a new UPS system, together with the associated electrical infrastructure, helping to inform the subsequent design and delivery of the fit-out works.
