...WP3’s design was ‘bonza’...
— Ross Murley, Managing Director, Minton Young

WP3 completed the detailed design of all building services, controls and smart building systems for Brandfold Terrace within a matter of weeks.

WP3 were tasked with taking design from the consultants Stage 3 to a complete Stage 5 detailed set of coordinated working drawings for all building services. We were able to mobilise significant resource at short notice to aid with a heavily condensed programme, successfully delivering the design without compromising on quality.

This included the development of coordinated RCPs with integration of client direct lighting and highly specialised AV requirements. Always with an eye to detail and good design, access provisions were able to be minimised for clean ceilings to meet the architectural intent.

With sustainability at the forefront of the clients requirements we integrated several innovative technologies into the design in a cost effective manner, including electric vehicle charging and air source heat pump heating & hot water.

A critical element of the employers requirements was to develop an integrated but intuitive ‘smart building’ control system. Utilising our experience in intelligent building design we partnered with the AV provider to developed a system that linked building services (from heating through to lighting control) with all other aspects of the project, including AV, blind control and intercom/security.

Utilising our wide range of experience we also designed and coordinated the external services and future proofing for further development on the site. This also included liaison and management of utility connections.
