From Barcelona, With Inspiration

Last week, our Principal Engineer Adam Essop spent time in Barcelona with the team at Vibia Lighting and came back inspired.

“I spent some time recently inside Vibia HQ, labs, production lines, the whole thing. What stood out to me was the design intent, designing light as part of the human experience, not an afterthought bolted on at the end.
There’s always a massive gap between ‘it meets spec’ and ‘it actually makes a space feel right.’ Most projects fall straight into that gap.”

One moment that really landed for us was seeing a familiar piece hanging in the Vibia showroom, a fitting we had previously delivered as part of our project at 60 Threadneedle Street. It is always a different feeling seeing something come full circle, from concept and installation through to being showcased as part of a wider design story.

That idea stuck with us.

Lighting should shape how a space feels, how people move through it and how they remember it.

If you are working on a project and want lighting that has a pulse and maybe even a bit of personality, instead of the usual corporate beige glow, drop us a message.

Let’s make something people might actually notice.
