A fully comprehensive stage 3 design for an out-of-the-ordinary high quality office space with integrated technology, an immersive specialist lighting design and quirky water features resulting in a modern, blissful and serene working environment.

Collaboration with an international design team from all corners of the globe was vital to establishing a high performing and aesthetically pleasing design. WP3 developed the stage 2 principles and expanded further on this to produce an extensive stage 3 design, working closely with the rest of the client team to enact and execute a range of changes to ensure client satisfaction with the end solution.

The scheme involved stage 3 MEP, specialist lighting, AV, security and IT design and due to the design and build nature of the contract, attention to detail and comprehension of the design was essential, resulting in a smooth transition to the construction process.

Via frequent design workshops which WP3 lead, we were able to integrate water features and the highly specialised lighting throughout the design without compromising on safety, buildability or cost. We worked closely with the client to mitigate any design change impacts to programme, allowing ample opportunity and time for decision making.

The mission critical infrastructure is highly resilient with a full N+1 redundancy built within the critical cooling system and power provision to critical operation desks. WP3 worked with the Landlord team to establish suitable infrastructure routes and plant occupation space that met the both the Landlord’s and Client’s needs.

A combination of feature ceilings and unorthodox architecture required numerous bespoke services solutions, from both a lighting and ventilation perspective, to ensure a fully operational office space without the look and feel being compromised.
