CFC Underwriting

CFC Underwriting, a global specialist insurance provider, appointed WP3 to support the development of their new 135,000 sq ft London headquarters across Levels 10–18 of 8 Bishopsgate.

Relocating from their two offices near Leadenhall Market, CFC embraced a transformational shift in their ways of working. With a focus on integrated technology and creating an inspiring environment for their people, our team supported the delivery of a workplace that meets both their operational needs and cultural ambitions.

Working closely with the landlord’s technical advisory team, WP3 challenged and optimised the technical capabilities of the building, ensuring the best use of available plant and space without compromising comfort or experience. Early engagement with contractors and key stakeholders enabled us to de-risk every stage — from design through to construction.

Our scope covered MEP design, as well as AV, IT, and electronic security. A major highlight was developing a smart, integrated technology solution, connecting the landlord’s access control app with CFC’s systems for access, room and desk booking, lockers, and wayfinding.

A fantastic collaborative effort and a landmark project we’re proud to showcase.
