WP3 were appointed to provide full MEP consultancy and design services for this confidential Tech Client’s 100,000 sq ft workplace in Cambridge, supporting the project from concept through to detailed design and delivery.

Our involvement included technical due diligence to assess the existing site conditions and validate key design assumptions, followed by MEP design through to the end of Stage 4 and construction monitoring. Following novation, WP3 also undertook the Stage 5 design, providing continuity throughout the project and bringing our experience from both the client and contractor sides of the delivery process.
 
Working closely with the wider design team, the building services were carefully coordinated to complement the architectural vision. Exposed services formed an important part of the design and required a high level of coordination and attention to detail to achieve a clean and refined finish.

The completed scheme incorporates extensive catering facilities alongside auditorium and event spaces designed to accommodate staff, external visitors, investors and clients. A wide variety of workplace settings provide flexibility across the building, supporting different ways of working while creating a comfortable environment that encourages collaboration, productivity and efficiency.
